Alive

Haven't posted in a while now, because of a couple of different things.
At any rate, I don't have a scanner, I don't have my usual programs, and I've been working.
And holy shit, did I really work on a monitor that bright? In other words, the colours of these will probably kill your eyes a bit:

...Did I mention I've been feeling a bit emo as well? XD This is a speedpainting, by the way.

I may not have updated my webcomic in a while, but at least I've been working on it. This was the last lineart I could scan.

And last, but not least, this is supposed to be a commission example, since I realized I didn't have any decent ones. I will get around to making a separate commissions post later.

Forest of Dreams

You know, I thought I was going to die when I almost lost two hours of work on this one. I don't know the exact amount of time it took to paint, but around 40 hours, I guess. I'm not a very patient person... ^^;
So, the reason I took on a huge project like this when I should be working on getting money for rent? Wellll... I need pieces I can be proud of for my portfolio. XD

I would have uploaded the process, but it seems the blogger reduced the size a lot. I'll upload it on dA instead.

Blue

A sort of speedpainting. Two and a half hours (that's speedy for me), no references or lineart.
I'm trying to get better at painting, so everything's done in a single layer. :)

Honestly, the past two weeks have more than a little bit crazy, and I'm going hiking in a few days, so I wanted to post something new before then.

Ink and fish

There's something special about drawing ugly fish.
I've had this lineart for about a year, and decided to use it for inking practise only now. :)

I feel like this experiment probably... failed. But oh well, not entirely.
I'm immensely dissatisfied with the girl's face. But the rest looks better than expected. :)
